CWAA Rural and Remote Area Primary Health Care Nursing Grant closing 30 June

Each year the CWAA offers the Country Women’s Association of Australia’s Rural and Remote Area Primary Health Care Nursing Grant.  The grant has been created to support a rural nurse or midwife in their continuing professional development, and is a funding program which the CWAA is most proud of.

The amount of the grant is determined each year by the State Member Associations of the CWAA and is based on the nature of the study of the successful grant applicant.

Grant applicants must address the following criteria in their submissions:
  • Be an enrolled, registered nurse or midwife who currently works in a rural setting
  • Have an interest in and knowledge of issues specific to women and children in rural Australia
  • Provide a current CV with two nursing referees.
  • Submit a written (500 word) report will be required by the CWAA.
