Travel Grants available for "Are You Remotely Interested" Conference Mt Isa
The Mount Isa Centre for Rural and Remote Health (MICRRH) is currently offering Travel Grants to support students from Queensland Universities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from the community sector to attend our conference.
The aim of the Travel Grants is to enable applicants to enhance their knowledge of research theory and practice by presenting at the "Are you Remotely Interested... in Prevention; Building a Culture of Safety" Conference in Mount Isa from August 1 to 4, 2012. Up to $1500 is available per applicant to assist with travel and accommodation costs. Registrations will be provided to successful applicants. This is a competitive process as there are limited funds available.
Applicants are requested to outline their objectives in attending the conference and submit an abstract for the conference (abstract details can be obtained from the website). Successful applicants may be asked for additional information about their submission, and will be required to write a brief report (approximately 300 words) after the conference.
For further information and to download the application form visit the conference website.
