Tanya Langtree, Ros Lock and Tamlyn Brice attended the ‘Simhealth’ conference in Brisbane in September. The conference was an opportunity to share simulation experiences and review the use of new technologies in simulated health learning.
The girls presented their poster demonstrating the use of low technology, high fidelity, low cost birthing pants (‘partopants’) to enhance the clinical learning experience for the postgraduate midwifery students at their annual residential school.
The poster and ‘partopants’ demonstration was well received with much interest for use across nursing and midwifery programs.
