NHET-Sim Workshops are coming to James Cook University Townsville
13th & 14th June 2013 - Modules C2, S5 & S6
The National Health Education and Training in Simulation (NHET-Sim) is a nationwide program providing training in simulation to healthcare professionals. NHET-Sim is designed for anyone who currently or intends to use simulation as an educational method to support the development of healthcare students and professionals.
Participation in the NHET-Sim Program is free.
Registrants can choose from two learning options; Stream A (e-learning and face-to-face workshops) and Stream B (e-learning and online tutorials).
All registrants complete core modules:
- Simulation-based education: Contemporary issues for the health profession
- Being a simulation educator
Stream A participants choose two elective modules. The elective modules to be run at JCU Townsville are C2, S5 & S6.
How can staff participate in workshops?
- Register for the NHET-Sim Program via the website
- Complete the e-learning core and elective modules
- Book into the workshop via the NHET-Sim website
