Festival of Learning Workshop - Townsville Sat 17 March

Learning Skills workshops

Both new and continuing JCU students are invited to the Festival of Learning to be held on Saturday 17 March 2012.  The purpose of the Festival is to show that Learning can be fun and to introduce you to a range of learning techniques. You will also receive valuable information about getting organised - one of the greatest challenges for many students.

Topics to be covered include:

• Active learning – the only effective way to learn
• MindMapping – the genius study tool
• How learning to juggle one ball teaches us important lessons about learning 
• Easy ways to remember important things

Time : 9.00am – 3.30pm
Venue: Sir George Kneipp Theatre (Building 26)
Cost: $20

Please bring pen and paper. Lunch, tea, coffee and cordial provided.

One of the highlights of the Festival will be the appearance of Doctor Who.
